Plain
→ branded.

Turn a blank product into an interactive brand reveal.

A plain pack, branded under the hand

The same pack shot twice: blank substrate, and the finished design printed on it. Brush across the frame and the branding lands in the shape of the stroke — the typography, the color, the foil catching the light the way it will on a shelf. The plain pack stays wherever the hand has not been, so the two live in one frame instead of two.

A finger does the same on a phone, and a visitor who has asked for reduced motion gets the two states as a comparison they drag themselves.

Who it is for

Packaging and brand design studios, consumer brands at launch, printers and converters, and agencies presenting identity work. Anyone whose deliverable is a decision rather than an object — the plain pack is the control that makes the decision visible.

What it replaces

The finished pack shot, which shows the output of a hundred design decisions and none of the decisions, and the case study where “before” is a small image beside a large one. Putting the blank pack under the branded one in a single frame is the whole argument for what the studio was paid to do.

It is built as a single section and drops into the site that already exists — a launch page, a case study, or the front page itself.
